What Romantic Words to Use...

I love someone but she loves someone else.

I don't know what to do...

I tried everything:

• Wrote her a poem
  
  
• Bought her stuff
  
  
• Defended her
  
  
• Talked to her, etc.
  

I'm honest with her. But she only wants to be my friend!

I'm open to ideas on how best to win her confidence and let her know that I'm a really genuine person.

I would assume that she was hurt before, hence the defensive position.

All my romantic gestures seem to be in vain.
