What A Proposal Idea!

A few years ago when I was in collage, I placed a bet with one of my closest friends that I would propose to a very pretty girl in our college.

I was certain that she would say yes!

After pestering her a bit, I got a date with her.

Then to my consternation, my friend told the girl about the bet.

She walked up to me, and without warning, slapped me across the face and then went home.

I was a bit embarrassed in front of my friends.

I was so ashamed that for a number of weeks, I kept apologizing to the girl (when my friends were not around).

Then one day I went to her classroom when it was in session and said 'sorry'.

To my surprise and delight she accepted my apology and then proposed to me in front of all the students and teacher.
