Wedding gifts that are thinking outside the box

I would have to say that when I got married I was so happy to open a gift that was not your typical blender or set of china.

Granted I am the one that registered for the china and blender, but today five years later they are not my most cherished gifts.

In fact my most cherished gifts are those that did not cost much money at all.

Well...

I am sure that one day they did cost money.

When they were given to me however they were hand me downs.

On the morning of my wedding day my mother presented me with my grandmothers pearls.

I thought they were just for the day, however to my surprise she was giving them to me.

I CHERISH them to this day.
