Gifts are somethings that need to be cherished.

It's not the money that makes it valuable, but the sweetness that brings to your mind whenever you see it makes it memorable.

When it was the marriage of my best friend I gave a lot of thinking about what to give her.

Another factor was that I did not have much money to spend even if I was ready to give her anything, because she was such a darling to me.

I had no idea about what to give her and whenever and wherever I went I used to window shop.

One day when I was purchasing something in a shopping mall, I came across a fancy store.

My friend was fond of light artificial ornaments. I saw a silver chain with a twinkling stone attached to it.

Suddenly I understood this was the thing for her.

I Purchased a brown colored jewelry box also. I put the chain inside the box and decorated the outside of the box with satin ribbon.

I presented it on her wedding day. Even today she uses it as one of her jewelry.

On my wedding day she gave me a gold pendant with the letter R carved on it.

And that was the sweetest gift I ever had.
