Wedding Destination - Bermuda

We had both been married before and decided this time we would have our wedding on our terms.

We had already booked a cruise to Bermuda before he proposed and it was about six months away, so we figured Why Not?

It is one of the most beautiful islands we had ever been to, with a huge selection of scenic beaches.

It only took me one visit to Bermuda's official website and two phone calls to find a wedding coordinator to handle all the details in Bermuda while I was in New York.

She was full of suggestions and very helpful.

We had visited Bermuda previously, so we already knew what we wanted.

It was me and my husband, a photographer, the reverand and the wedding planner on Hamilton Bay Beach.

We had a horse drawn carriage take us there and a dinner, complete with wedding cake, arranged at our favorite restaurant when it was all over.

The pictures are so beautiful with a sandy beach and ocean backdrop.

No one was there except the people that mattered - those getting married.

Not many people get to be married barefoot on a beautiful pink beach.

I wouldn't trade it for the world.
