Underwater Suprise Proposal

My husband proposed to me while we were SCUBA diving in Cozumel, Mexico.

I had no idea he had been planning this!

He had the divemaster distract me with some ugly looking rock.

One of the other divers was taking a picture of me looking at the little rock so I thought it must be something cool.

I was confused because it just looked like an ordinary rock.

That was when I felt a tap on my shoulder.

I turned around to find my now husband on bended knee with a sign asking me to marry him, and he was holding out the ring (which he had tied to himself with a lot of fishing line to make sure it didn't get lost).

I was lucky he did it at the beginning of the dive because I used up a lot of air because I was so excited!

And it's awesome that he arranged for someone to take pictures so we could share the experience with family and friends later.

An added advantage: diamonds look HUGE underwater!
