Under the Golden Gate

My romantic date was brought about by something I never thought would happen to me:
I met someone online, and talked for over a year before we decided to meet in person.
I was very cautious because of warnings about dating someone from the Internet, and it was something I had never intended in the first place, so we took things very slow.
After over a year, we had developed deep feelings for each other, but didn't want to rush into something as soon as we "met".
Our first meeting was early in the morning before the sun came up, in the parking lot of his hotel in San Francisco.
We gave each other a warm hug, jumped in the car, and headed to breakfast.
It was awkward at first, but we soon warmed up to each other and watched the sunrise through the restaurant window.
Next, we embarked on a day of sightseeing, sitting close together on the trolley.
I have never experienced such SEXUAL TENSION
from just sitting next to someone before. We ended our sightseeing with a walk through Muir Woods- the majestic redwoods that are the perfect setting for a romantic stroll.
It was there that
we knew there was a deep connection between us, and we stood holding each other for a long time.
Dinner followed, and then a long hug goodbye...
...But I will ever forget that moment, standing in the woods, surrounded by nature and absolute peace with
the man I was beginning to realize I had fallen in love with.
