Trip to Italy

The best story I heard regarding a romantic proposal was from a friend of mine.

Her boyfriend told her they were going to London for the day (they lived on the south coast of England) but that they had to drop a letter to do with his work on the way through.

It happened that this (fictional)letter had to be posted to an address near the airport.

When they got near the airport they actually turned into the parking lot.

On arrival, her boyfriend produced my friend's passport and a guide to Rome. In the back of the car he had hidden a bag containing clothes for an overnight stay.

With that they checked in for their surprise flight and off they flew to Italy.

It was an amazing surprise but didn't end there.

On arrival in Italy they had a tour around the lost city of Pompeii plus a visit to Mount Vesuvius.

They as the coach they were travelling on passed by the bay of Naples (and stopped for people to take photos), my friend's boyfriend got down on one knee and proposed to her.

She said it was extremely romantic and of course said yes!
