The Practical Wedding Gift

Price is not as big a factor as the THOUGHT put into a gift.
If the party is
registered, this is an indication of things they need and/or want,
so...Take advantage of the list, it'll save you time if you're a last minute shopper.
Depending on how well you know the bride/groom, like if this is a first or a second marriage...
Or...If they've already been out on their own, are other factors to consider when they don't
register.
When I got married someone got me the most PRACTICAL WEDDING GIFT, that after 20 years I'm still using.
It was a Sewing Basket filled with...
I thought that was great.
I still use the basket along with the other two I've had to buy.
Over the years this is what I'd get the bride if she wasn't
registered.
But I didn't forget the groom. I would fill a bucket with...
Unless they requested, I would NEVER give a wedding gift I wouldn't use myself.
Another practical wedding gift would be a clothes basket or kitchen trash can filled with cleaning supplies, mop, broom or whatever.
With gifts like this you don't have to be concerned with wrapping.
Be creative!I promise things like this will be used far more than
china or crystal...but those things are nice too.
