Texas Two-Stepping Proposal

It has always been my dream to marry a real life cowboy that could dance my legs off!
I had always told my family this! You know like Sissy & Bud from Urban Cowboy!
Only mine would be for real and not a movie!
My husband and I had our first date in a Texas "bar"! I love to country two-step and well when we met he "said" he could dance!
I wanted him to prove it! So, we went to the bar with my older sister and her husband and let's just say that his way of "dancing" if you want to call it that was not my way of dancing!
Growing up in the Texas bars with my dad and his friends, I learned to dance all the different "Texas Two-Steps" styles that there is!
Anyways, after six months and every weekend of teaching him the two-stepping moves in the bars, he finally came around to the "real" texas two-step style!
That special night - We were out on the dance floor and I heard the VJ say "Missy, would you please take the chair in the middle of the floor!"
I hadn't even realized that they had cleared the floor with the exception of us and had placed a wicker chair in the middle of the dance floor!
I had no idea what was going on!
...It wasn't my birthday, it wasn't my husband's (boyfriend at the time), it wasn't any of my family members that were there either!
I was "completely embarrassed" being called out to the middle of the floor not knowing what was about to happen!
Then it happened!
My husband came out to the middle of the floor where I was with a big bright bouquet of yellow roses (he knew they are my favorite! I don't even know to this day where he kept them hidden from me that night!), knelt down, took his cowboy hat off, pulled something out of his shirt pocket (at this point I was not sure what he was about to do or say) and then asked me the big question I guess!
I was so excited I screamed "YES" not even knowing what he had asked!
I was hoping it was the "big question!"
I jumped up out of the chair and up into his arms crying hysterically!
...Then they started to play "Could I Have This Dance" by Anne Murray! The same song that played at Sissy & Bud's wedding from the Urban Cowboy Movie!
What's the chances of that happening!
The dance floor was clear with the exception of my husband to be and myself!
As we were dancing I had to make sure of the question he asked! I asked him "Did you just ask me to marry you?" He stated "Why would you say "yes" if you were not sure of the question I had asked?"
I told him I had to be sure that I wasn't dreaming!
He just laughed as we danced!
My dream of a real life cowboy for a husband came true, with my help of course!
We have been married 10 1/2 wonderful years now with three wonderful children and our two-stepping is still as strong as ever!
We have even taught the two older children! The third child is still two young to understand how it goes but the day she does ...look out cowboys!
