The most romantic thing my husband has ever done for me was buying high thread count sheets and duvet.

Some might laugh at this or consider it unromantic, but let me explain the difference quality bedding makes on desire.

The focal point of the romantic bedroom should be the bed (well unless you have a nice comfortable chair that could be...utilized).

No one wants to jump into a threadbare, scratchy bed let alone perform any sort of activity on it!

Seduction becomes much easier when buttery sheets await.

In addition to buttery sheets, soft lighting is also something that helps "set the mood".

No one, and I mean no one, looks good under direct overhead light.

Turn off those interrogation lights, and turn on some soft lamps. It gives the room the ambiance of candles without the fire hazard.

Who needs rose petals when you have flattering lighting and a bed so soft you may never want to leave?
