Special Proposal

When my husband proposed to me he put a lot of thought into it.

He picked me up and drove me to the local horse stables, where he gave me 99 daisies (the year he proposed) and a silver plate with little hand-dipped chocolates.

Around the corner came a horse drawn carriage. He helped me in, and off we went for a horse drawn carriage ride at sunset down a quiet dirt country road.

After some time we stopped at a beautiful pond and we got out to walk around.

He then dropped to one knee and asked me to be his wife.

I was so surprised; he had actually messed with me about it for months beforehand. He would drop t a knee and say would you… get me a sandwich? Or will you… give me a backrub?

I was shocked for a moment then he opened the box, inside lay a beautiful white gold diamond ring with an inscription of “If you but knew” a line of a poem he gave me once.

After I said YES he tried to put it on my finger, it only fit my pinky so we had to get it resized...

...But that moment will stay with me forever.
