San Francisco to Seattle Love

My boyfriend and I met in Las Vegas -- at a work conference!

Unfortunately I lived in Seattle and he lived in San Francisco...but we decided to go for it anyways.

To keep close we did the following:

- morning and evening phone calls. He would call me in the morning as my alarm clock to wake me up.

This was awesome.

- Instant messaging: we would talk back and forth during the day as a way to share the "trivial" experiences we had.

- Monthly visits -- you have to spend in person time.

- Random surprises. I'd send him things in the mail, he'd send me things in the mail. it was a lot of fun.
