Romantic Proposal

by Smith
(Ind, OR)

My idea for a great proposal would be to surprise your girlfriend by arranging an activity that you both enjoy doing together and surprise her with the proposal.

For some people it is a nice dinner out and for others it might be a hike in the woods.

If your girlfriend does'nt enjoy going out for dinner, don't ask her one of the most important questions at a place/activity that she doesn't like.

If you do, then every time that someone asks how "he" proposed, she will have to think about what she was doing when you asked.

I also agree with the previous poster that you shouldn't agonize over every little detail.

Nothing is going to go perfect, just like your wedding day; you can only try your best.

Focus on your interaction with your girlfriend rather than having details perfect or just the right mood.

Obviously, it is hard to not be nervous, but try and make the atmosphere relaxed. If you are too nervous she will see it coming from a mile away.

Above everything else be yourself and she will treasure the moment forever, no matter how perfect or imperfect the moment may be.

I also suggest not spending a lot of money on the actual proposal, itself, unless you have money to burn.
