...Especially when it's in a romantic New York restaurant? Fine dining is not a novelty or a rarity in this exciting place. Across the 5 Burroughs, starting from Brooklyn to Bronx, Queens to Battery Park, New York restaurants are a veritable kaleidoscope of taste, décor and location - exciting places for people looking out for exciting options... And the best part is that some of the finest restaurants are actually quite affordable- all the more reason to celebrate in style.
It has a name that does not vanish fast from the memory - One If By Land, Two if By Sea. What could be more incredibly romantic than a dinner in these romantic settings, complete with a fireplace and an evening pianist? Fresh flowers adorn the table and the place just drips History. The menu is simply delectable, the atmosphere seductive. Critics rave about this place. It's a must see, and a must-be, this romantic New York restaurant. The Savoy is my idea of a classy romantic New York restaurant... Loads of atmosphere and food that tickles the palette - that's what The Savoy gives you. While the seats may all be booked, it never gives a feeling of being overcrowded - just like New York. This pricey restaurant is not for everyday - just for those wonderful moments that need to be captured forever. The River Café offers one of the best views in all of Brooklyn. Adjudged the most romantic New York restaurant by the Time Out New York Readers Choice Award, the River Café is undoubtedly one amazing romantic New York restaurant. The food is superb; the prestigious culinary guide "Gault Millau" award is proof enough of that. The Brooklyn riverfront is indeed one of the dreamiest places to be. The comfortable and well-lit floating barge makes a fine setting for romantic dining, and the experience is enriched by the soft tunes from the piano. The service is excellent and the atmosphere electrifying. Candela- does the name signify anything? Can one really think of romance without candles, and loads of them at that? What makes the Candela an excellent romantic New York restaurant is not just its abundant seating or the moderate prices. There's something in the menu for just about everyone. If you want to get cozy and just enjoy the amazing cuisine, while not taking your eyes off your sweetheart's face glowing in the golden candlelight, the Candela is the place to go.
The Katz's Delicatessen has lots of atmosphere and the food is the BEST there is. It doesn't hurt that this is the only place that carves its corned beef by HAND. This is definitely one of the greatest New York experiences... And don't be surprised if the deli reminds you of scenes from "When Harry met Sally". If you are lucky... You may get to sit on the very table that has a small paper taped to it that reads, "you are sitting at the table where Harry met Sally". New York is bustling with romantic restaurants. The Union Square Café, The Blue Hill (which has a tradition of serving a 'hand-free' meal on Valentine's), The Daniel (simply great) are other favorites vying for the best romantic New York restaurant. But... You really don't have to go to a pricey restaurant for that romantic touch... Take your date to one of the fun Hot Dog & Pretzel Stands scattered around the city. While the food is good... ...The items are low-cost and you can have a jolly good time too...mustard, ketchup and all. |
