Yes... when you get back, all your problems will still be waiting for you - the baby will still cry right when you are ready to share a kiss, or your little son may need you in the middle of the night, or your daughter may tell her papa to "stop crushing mommy, you'll kill her!" So, take a little time out where there are no interruptions - where you are TRULY in control. For married people, this kind of a getaway is the most romantic holiday gifts of all. Romantic holiday gifts are special. So, plan something romantic well in advance. But heck... When you're in love, what are a few extra bucks? So, plan a holiday to a location of your choice. It does not have to be somewhere exotic. Just make it a point to get away from it all, and lose yourself in your beloved's eyes. Or go to a quietly romantic place that is 'far from the madding crowd'. If it's the holiday season, and you want to really make her feel special, take her shopping. ...She'll love it. This gives you ample opportunity to relax, romance and indulge yourself. ...Can't say there are many romantic holiday gifts that can beat this one. Who can think of a holiday without some excellent wine? This is the perfect time to splurge on that rare case of vintage liquor that you know your husband will enjoy. You can actually make the scenario very interesting by keeping the wine in a sleek steel cooler, place some candles and then order some delicious stuff to eat. Or better still... ...Combine the wine with some chocolate goodies.
