...apparently a lot of folks from Venus are, for I’ve seen them ever so often caught up in their world of fantasy and adventure...and it makes for good observation just watching them…
- On subways – to and from work
- Lazing away on a sunny day by the beach with the waves lapping quietly in the background
- Snuggling up besides their soft satin pillows
- Swaying lazily in their hammocks with not a care in the world
Here are the biggest fans of romantic books?
- Teenage girls
- Young ladies
- Moms of all ages
These folks are mostly caught up with the plots, the scenes, the dialogues, the characters, and the dramas…
Romantic bööks tend to pull us in like fragments of steel drawn to magnet…each page unfolding with steamy love scenes, broken dates and failed relationships.
We get caught up with the backbiting, the gossips, the lies, and the deceits.
We’ve come to despise the conniving, manipulating, hoity-toity temptress trying to wrench the wealthy Lord from the young, naive, gentle peasant girl.
We laugh with her when she’s happy and soak up the hankies when she’s sad.
Romantic bööks make us do all of these… we immersed ourselves and become part of the twists and turns as each scene unfolds…caught up in the emotional roller coaster of the moment.
Are guys fans of romantic bööks too?
You bet!
...But not in the way gals do.
You don’t hear a guy saying to his buddy around the water cooler at work, that he’s eager to rush home to the latest Harlequin book.
I would chuckle if I were privy to such a conversation.
Granted, a fella might just do so if he’s trying to develop his feminine side...obviously by clear commands from his girlfriend or wife.
The kind of romance books guys would be interested in would most likely include subjects like:
