Personal Letters for Courtship

My class mate in college days is still in contact with me.

Now it is almost 35 years since we got separated.

She is sending me a letter in every 15 days or less, without any break.

Even most of the times I am sending her just emails or a phone call. But she is keeping sending me personally hand written letters.

I can feel the warm of her love in those letters.

Now she is residing more than 12,000 Kms away from me. I am living in India and she is in USA. But I feel she is so close to me when I am reading her latter or receiving a birthday gift.

Quite often I am sending her our family photos, includes my wife and children. She is also doing the same.

But the warm of her personal letters are distinct ones.

Now while I am writing this article I got her 939th personally hand written letter.

Our another friend who is settled 2,500 Kms away from us, is keeping his friendship by using the telephone.

Every alternative days either he would call me or I would call him.

My third friend is also keeping the friendship by using the telephone. He will call me at least once in every week.

Thus personal letters, telephones, emails, chatting etc are capable to keep the warmness of the friendship.
