Paris Proposal

A long time ago, my then boyfriend and I were in Paris for a vacation and we loved it so much.

We took a boat ride on the Seine, ate at wonderful restaurants and cafes, went shopping and loved the whole city.

One night, we were at the top of the Eiffel Tower and all of Paris was in front of us, all lit up.

It was gorgeous.

It was a beautiful night and really clear.

You could see forever.

We stayed up for a really long time just enjoying the view and the feeling of Paris.

My boyfriend said to me...

"I want to always remember this place and,
your face and the way we feel right now...

Will you please marry me?"

I cried I was so happy and touched.

It was a real surprise.

Of course, I said YES and will never forget that moment.

We bought a ring the next day at a jewelry store in Paris which made it even more special.

My husband told me later that he wasn't planning on asking me that night, mainly because he thought I would say no,

But...

He was so taken with the night, and the setting and me that he just wanted more than anything to ask.

We've been married 21 years and plan to go back to Paris this summer.
