One If By Land, Two If By Sea (a NY restaurant)

Neither my husband nor I had ever been to New York before, so we wanted to make it special when it came to dining choices when we visited there last September.
We extensively researched ahead a time for a good place to go.
We opted for a restaurant called "One If By Land, Two If By Sea".
The catchy-title spot is located in a carriage house in western Manhattan.
It was EXTREMELY nice, with a glowing fireplace and tons of candlelight, beautiful piano music, yummy filling food, and top service.
Some might call it high-class, but to me it was like something out of a storybook.
We learned that it has actually been voted as one of the most romantic eateries in all of New York.
Wow!
The menu was packed with rich, pampering treats - nothing but luxury and indulgence.
We opted for the "sampler" menu, which ran us about $85.
They also had a great wine list, and took requests for the piano.
It was not too crowded, and the views were fantastic.
Keep in mind there is a dress code, and you will not get away eating cheap there.
It is completely deserving for any couple, though!
