My Long Distance Relationship

I am in a relationship with a 21 year old girl from Manipur(India) for more than 6(six) years.

Out of these six years, 3 years we stayed on long distance relationship.

We kept our relationship going through cell phone, emails, internet chats and gifts through couriers etc.

And moreover the important ingredient in a distance relationship is the trust...(which many people do not have with others, but I have and she too).

...And also mutual understanding between the lovers.

But nowadays many people do not have trust over one another, be it among friends or lovers.

But for me, I feel lucky to be a lover of hers since we continued and kept our relationship alive for more than six years.

We used to speak over the phone everyday and send emails 3 times a week.

We send each other gifts on all festive occasions.

The most beautiful feeling in a distant relationship is to send and receive gifts and that too as a surprise.

This is a great feeling.

On those three years we fought over simple and stupid reasons.

I have experienced the pain and suffering from a long distance relationship. And sometimes I find myself inconsolable.

I sometimes miss her too much that I feel like she is calling me to be with her.

But still our relationship continues.
