My Idea of Romance

Personally, my own idea of a romantic situation for proposal would be a simple, down to earth, intimate evening.

It would start with a shared dinner at a local eating establishment, something quiet, and not too pricey, but not exactly a greasy spoon.

Then I would proceed to take my partner on a walk through a serene area such as a park, or a quiet neighborhood, before stopping in front of something like a big tree, or secluded bench.

I would then sit her down and explain how I truly feel to her, before proposing with a simple engagement band that I had stowed away in my pocket.

We would then complete the night by returning to a dessert bar and picking up some cake or ice cream, and of course, a box of assorted chocolates to take home to close out the evening.

We could conclude the night by snuggling warmly in front of a romantic movie, feeding each other chocolates or the like as we enjoy each other's company.
