My First Date

It was in a coastal city in south India where I was at the international airport to receive my girl friend from Malaysia.

Although we had not seen each other in spite of speaking over the internet chat for over two years, I knew that I will identify her the moment she comes out.

And there she was!

I walked straight to her and greeted her,

And...

She was really surprised, and had so many questions just to confirm that it was the same me with whom she spoke for two years.

Once she was cleared of her doubts, we decided to go to the finest hotel where we sat for over three hours just talking about the past, and cherished every moment we spent on the Internet chat.

Back them not even a single person believed that such a thing could ever happen,

But...

Deep in my heart I had that trust that it will happen, and...

I will have a romantic date with the one whom I knew for so long and form a distant country.

Today everything remains the same.

I remember every minute we spent together, and every dialogue we spoke.

Time has passed by but I will love to live that moment again.
