Midnight Beach Anniversary

The night before the 2 year anniversary of our first date, my boyfriend (now husband) took me for a midnight stroll on a beach.

We drove out in his Dad's convertible, listening to Bob Marley.

We got to the beach and started walking at around 11:30.

There was a full moon and it was beautiful.

At midnight, he got down on one knee and proposed to me.

Just as I said YES and he was putting the ring on my finger, he told me to look up and fireworks were going off.

His brother and father were behind a sand dune and had timed it to have the fireworks go off during the proposal.

So romantic!
