Making it Personal

I've never really been one to get flowers, but my current boyfriend definitely turned me on to the concept.
This past
Valentine's Day, he showed up at my work with a beautiful, GIANT bouquet of
red and pink roses, complete with a teddy bear and balloon.
The flowers were absolutely stunning, but...
The best part was - the vase was shaped like a giant champagne glass.
My boyfriend knows
how much I love champagne,
and we often drink it together just for fun! It meant so much because it wasn't just
a bunch of flowers he'd picked up at the last minute - he actually took the time to think about what I like.
Flowers can often times be a very generic or
"fall back" gift, but...
The way he did it let me know that he was thinking about me and only me when he came up with the idea.
The
flowers eventually died, but I keep the champagne glass next to my bed, and it always reminds me of how special he made me feel that day.
