Long Distance Relationship - Nuisance or Pleasure

Its true, long distance relationships are hard. But in the end if you fight to make it work, they are worth the troubles.
I'm 19 and I can honestly say I'm in love with my boyfriend.
After 2 years of living 1,000 miles apart our relationship is better than people who only live 5 miles apart.
The constant 6 hour telephone calls along with our constant video chats is something that most people can't do.
On the same note its also really funny how people assume long distance relationships never work.
The only reason why long distance relationships never work is because...
...One side of the relationship can not overhear to the terms of a long distance relationship, such as the classic
"I never see you" or "I can't do this".
If both parties are willing to commit to the terms, then there is no failure.
Remember...
Distance will be a factor for most days, but once in a blue moon you will see each other and it will light up the dullest of candles.
From my own personal experience, I was extremely delighted when I saw my boyfriend at the airport.
A long distance relationship, is worth the troubles in my opinion.
Its always nice to know that there is someone that is there for you, even when they physically can't be there with you.
