Long Distance Flowers

This past September I was in Detroit for business for a few days.

I checked into my hotel and a few minutes later there was a knock at my door.

When I opened it, there was a delivery person holding a dozen beautiful pink roses!

They were from my boyfriend
and he sent them “just because”!

The roses were gorgeous and bright and really made me feel happy and warm.

I loved seeing them in the hotel room when I woke up or got back in after my work functions.

My only dilemma came on the last day of my trip when I wasn’t sure if I should take them home.

And...

Deal with the hassle of transporting them, or if I should leave them.

I couldn’t resist so I had them wrapped up – but I did abandon the vase.

Anyways...

It was actually a lot of fun carrying them around, even thought it was a bit cumbersome and awkward.

I ended up feeling quite special, got a lot of attention, and even a few envious glances.

And I got to enjoy them for a few days more once I was home.

Not bad for a boyfriend who claims to be not romantic.
