"I Do" on the Oregon Coast

Just Married on the Oregon Coast
My husband and I eloped to the Oregon Coast, and were married at Rocky Creek Point overlooking the ocean on a grassy knoll.
It was windy and cloudy when for our short ceremony, but all in all,
a gorgeous place to tie the knot, and the sun came out just as we were leaving.
We did pre-arrange to have a minister meet us there to do the service, and the location is very easy to find and get to.
It has some of the best views of the ocean, but no beach access right there.
Three months later we had an
"official" wedding, just down the road at Fogarty Creek State Park, where we were actually married on the beach in the sand.
This would also be a fine place for eloping, as there are fantastic accommodations directly above the beach there at the Surfrider Inn.
Anywhere along the
Oregon Coast is really gorgeous and ideal for eloping, honeymooning, getting married, or just having a romantic weekend out.
