Her First Bouquet of Flowers

For her 7th birthday my husband and I sent a delightful little girl her first bouquet of flowers.

She is the daughter of a single mother friend of ours who needs a lot of love.

And...

Gives a lot of love in return.

When the flowers arrived on her doorstep her eyes grew bigger as she read her own name on the card, and...

Realized the flowers were for her.

She found the perfect place for the flowers where both her and her mother could enjoy them, and...

Made sure the flowers had enough water every day.

When they started drooping, her mother helped her pressed them into a flower press we had given her for Christmas the year before ...so she could enjoy them even more.

She KNOWS she is special, but it's nice to remind her.
