He "Rose" to the Occasion.

A few years ago I met the man I am currently with. He was my son's baseball coach.

I had assisted him with coaching the team, and had a great time getting to know him and his kids.

At the end of the season after our final game, I was getting into my car, and...

On the dash was a single long stemmed red rose, and a card tied to the stem.

The card simply said "Will you be my coach?"

Nothing extraordinary or extravagant ...but enough to tug at my heart strings.

Every baseball season since then that he has coached ...at the end of the final night ..I'll get into the car to be greeted with a Rose and a note identical to the very first one.

And...

Still feel my heart leap out of my chest each time I see it, even though now I know it is going to be there.

This season was a bit different...

I got into my car, and on the dash was the rose I had expected ..but with a note attached to it.

However, also attached was my engagement ring and the note read "Will you be my wife?"

I said YES, immediately!
