Flowers From a High School Sweetheart

It was my birthday, and I had plans with my boyfriend to have dinner.

I didn't think much of him, or that he was the romantic type.

I thought we'd just go to a fast food restaurant.

So he came to my house to pick me up.

When I came out I saw that he had a bouquet of roses. I was so speechless, so overwhelmed it was so romantic.

It was so unexpected.

I was also excited because I really liked this guy and that was the first time I ever got flowers.

Ever since that day I knew he was the one for me.

We finished high school, still dating and spending so much time together.

After graduation, a year later, we had a beautiful daughter.

We are now engaged to get married, planning on a spring wedding ...which I will have many bouquets of the same flowers he brought me that day!

It was a memorable birthday!

I will never forget that day.

I can't wait for my wedding day, to walk down that isle full of beautiful roses that he gave me, and happily marry the man of my dreams.
