When my husband I decided to get married, we were faced with a tough decision.

Our families are from two different parts of the country, and...

Wedding that combined the families would be costly for everyone involved.

We decided to go to Eureka Springs and elope.

We chose Eureka Springs because it was close to us and it was very friendly to those wanting to elope.

My Grandparents had eloped there 50 years before we did.

While we were at the courthouse applying for our marriage license, we got to see their original license.

The whole weekend was amazing.

By eloping, we got to focus on just us.

It was a great beginning to our lives together.

All of our decisions were based on what we wanted and not with anyone else in mind.

If we had to do it all over again, we would do the same!

I find myself recommending it to almost anyone I know that is engaged!

We are thinking of renewing our vows on our 10th wedding anniversary, and...

We would elope all over again!
