Eureka Springs Arkansas is Absolutely Romantic!

Eureka Springs, Arkansas offers a wonderful place for an elopement!

There are many little shops that you can just bop in off the street (with a marriage license, of course!) and get married!

Several offer a quirky take on the matter, where you can dress up in a historical outfit and have a tin type made of you and your new spouse!

Other places are more upscale, and offer outdoor marriages under gazebos or trees, or in front of historically beautiful hotels!

You can even buy a package where a horse drawn horse and buggy parades you through the historical streets of the town, past Victorian mansions, up to date quirky shops and many many tourists.

The area also offers several bed and breakfasts where you can spend the night of your nuptials in Victorian style as well!

Can you not get more romantic than that?

My husband and I, rather unfortunately if you ask us now, did not elope in Eureka Springs, although we did consider it, and it would have saved us alot of time and energy!

It was here, however, that he did ask me to married him amid trees afire with autumn colored leaves!

That was one romantic day I will never forget!

It was always my dream to get married here, but alas it did not happen that way.

We had a church ceremony amid friends and family, but in my heart I will always cherish the idea of an elopement in a little town in the Ozark mountains!
