Engagement at Lambeau Field

My girlfriend had surprised me in 2005 with two tickets to the Packers vs. Bears game on Christmas Day.

But I out-did her by sneaking a diamond engagement ring in my snowsuit on the six-hour trip to Green Bay.

As we approached the Lombardi statue on our way to the field, I said to her "Let's have someone take our picture standing by the statue."

As I approached two strangers, I gave them each a camera and said "Can you take our picture?"

Once they agreed, I told them to "take as many as you can, you'll know why once I get up there."

As we posed at the statue, I turned to her, got on one knee, and proposed marriage to her in front of hundreds of die-hard, freezing cold Packers fans. :)

We actually used the attached picture for our wedding invitations.
