I've never been married but I've certainly been to a wedding.

And while I think that it's great to get the Bride & Groom something new to add to their household...

I don't believe that it should just be a small appliance.

If you've ever moved in with a loved one you will soon realize the things that you don't have....

Light bulbs

Tool box

Paper towel holder, etc.

...Little things that really add up.

In light of the environmental times, why not give someone the gift of making their home Eco-friendly?

Maybe some energy star light bulbs wrapped with a gift certificate to an environmentally friendly decor store?

In the end the couple, while not receiving the most romantic gift, will save a ton of money.

And...

Lord knows they spent most of it on the wedding dress.
