Don't Give Toasters!!!

I know that in the past it wasn't acceptable to live together before you were married, but let's be honest, times have changed!
Many couples are living together for years before ever completely committing through marriage.
My husband and I lived together before we decided to get married, and I'm going to be honest...
...Some people didn't use their best judgment when getting us wedding gifts! If two adults live together (or even by themselves), chances are they have the necessities of life.
We had two of most things that were needed, but we were young so we didn't have very many
"want" items.
You can imagine how we felt when we received dishes, toasters, etc.
You know, the usual wedding gifts.
What were we going to do with another toaster?!?
What do I suggest?
Do the newly weds already have children? Babysit for the night!
No kids? Use your imagination.
They are NEWLYWEDS! Chances are they are going to have a
wild night.
Don't be afraid to give gag gifts if you can't come up with anything else.
Give a bottle of Tylenol to the man, and just tell him he'll need it later down the road.
