Come Fly With Me Proposal

At the time my boy friend and I were living in Alaska.

He had his private pilot license so he rented an airplane and we were to make a day of adventure.

He flew me across the Arctic Circle so he could sign my certificate of having crossed the circle and we landed at Fort Yukon.

We walked around for a bit and then flew to Circle Hot Springs where we had lunch and went swimming.

We flew back to Fairbanks and went to dinner at one of the hotels.

After dinner we went for a ride and he pulled over into the side of the road and asked me to marry him.

That was 44 years ago!

Oh, I said yes!
