Champagne!

One of my favorite Wedding Shower gifts was a small wine rack with 6 small bottles of champagne.

Each bottle had a paper tag tied to the neck, and an "occasion" or even that would happen in the first 6 months of marriage attached to it.

These notes determined when each bottle (they were half sized bottles!) would be opened and enjoyed.

Some of the occasions were:

• First laundry mishap
  
  
• First televised sporting event celebration
  
  
• 6 month anniversary
  
  
• First thunderstorm, etc.
  

It was fun to wait for each event to happen, and then to enjoy a mini celebration!
