Carmel by the Sea

Carmel by the Sea is one of the most beautiful, romantic places in the country.

Situated on the Monterey Bay on the central coast of California, it is truly feels like heaven on earth.

The bay is a beautiful setting for a romantic get-away, and to devote yourself to your loved one there would be the memory of a lifetime.

The shoreline is rocky, but there are plenty of areas with sandy beaches as well.

You can spend evenings sitting on the cliffs, watching the sea lions and otters play while the sun sets into the Pacific Ocean.

Days can be spent strolling through town, visiting the quaint shops and art galleries.

Carmel reminds you of a European town; you can walk everywhere you want to go and it would take you days to see everything!

No matter what your favorite food is, you'll find it in Carmel.

My husband and I didn’t have the good fortune to elope in Carmel by the Sea 26 years ago, but we renewed our vows there last year and it was even more memorable than our wedding day.
