Because of him, I said YES!

It still amazes me how my finance proposed to me.

It occurred in brewery over beer and chorizo pizza.

It was two months ago in Philadelphia, and it was raining out.

When I came home, he gave me a hug, and he said, 'come with me.'

We hugged, and decided to walk the five blocks up the road to the brewery.

There were stars outside, which was unusual in a city, and on the walk there, he asked me what happened two years ago on New Years Eve.

I said, 'yes, I saw a shooting star, and I wished that I could marry you.'

He squeezed my hand, and said, 'maybe dreams do come true.'

We then got to the brewery, and ordered the food and the hand-crafted beer.

We then started talking about our relationship and how much we've been through.

The pizza came, and he said, "I want to stay like this forever." I then agreed to him.

We told silly jokes then, and he reached into his pocket and got out a ring that he got from a quarter machine.

He said, "This is not much, and I'm a struggling musician, but I love you want want to spend the rest of my life with you forever."

I then started crying, and said, "YES" while tears spilled into my beer.

We kissed and hugged, and 12-31-2008 will be OUR wedding date!
