Beautiful and unlikely places to elope

The places that come to mind for me are in the northern forest of Ontario, Canada where one finds the Canadian Shield.

No...

It isn't an object you use to block sword blows, but rather the largest vein of quartz crystal rock in the world.

There is an incredibly healing and calming energy in that part of the world, coupled with the gorgeous evergreens, and beautiful wildlife.

There are places that feel like new Zealand for all the moss, dragonflies and so on, so it's like a fairy tale.

Another place I would consider is Ecuador.

...Not usually the first place that comes to mind.

But...

When you consider it has...

• Beaches that run the length of the country on the Pacific Ocean
  
  
• A part of the Amazon jungle, and...
  
  
• The snowy mountain city of Quito (the capital)
  

...You see that there are endless possibilities for the location of a lifetime.
