Anniversary Rose Petals

For our anniversary, I wanted to do something really special for my wife.

Roses are her favorite flower, especially red ones.

So I bought a dozen roses and had them delivered to her at her office, to start things off.

She loved it because everyone saw them on her desk and asked why it was a special day, and she could tell them all about our anniversary.

But she thought that was it!

So I bought another dozen red roses and brought them home.

I took all the petals off the roses and scattered them all over the house, making a trail from the door, upstairs and into the bathroom.

When she got there, I’d drawn a warm bath and scattered rose petals into the bathwater for her to relax after a long day at work.

She absolutely loved it and it made her feel very special.

I think any woman would love to be treated the same way, even if it wasn’t a special occasion. (Maybe especially then!)

It was a great way to show my appreciation for all that she does.
