About Wedding Gifts ...Get them an experience

Picking just the right wedding present for a couple really depends on how well you know them.
No matter what the registry says,
the best gift is money. But if you know the couple really well, you can get beyond all that stuff on
their registry that they don’t really want anyway.
A good place to start is something they can use together, for fun, in the coming year.
Like...Concert tickets or
baseball tickets.
Another similar idea is to get them into a class together, like glass blowing or swing dancing.
A weekend at a
drivable resort months away is great if you're going for something big.
These items are often...But only do it if you know them well enough to know what they like!
You don’t want to send them to see a band they don’t like.
A lot of couples have been living together, so they don’t need all that
“setting up” household goods kind of thing.
So consider getting them things are actually for them individually, but given in
a his-and-hers kind of way -
like...A stack of video games for him and DVDs for her, wrapped together.
You want to give them something they’ll actually have fun using, and may even be able to GET the other interested in.
