A Happy Anniversary

My husband has never been a really
romantic type of guy but he is good about showing his appreciation and love for me in other ways...
Like...Helping around the house, or watching the kids (when they were little) so I could have time out with my friends or alone time.
Every once in awhile he will bring home
flowers (usually at the prompting of my daughter if they are at the store together).
Most of the time it will be
a single red rose (though I'm not a big fan of red roses, perferring yellows, peaches, and white).
Still...It's the thought that counts, so I can't complain.
We've never done a lot on our anniversary (maybe going out for dinner if we can afford it).
Usually our anniversary comes around the time of his company's national meetings so that's usually the time we use as our special anniversary time.
We've gone to Lake Tahoe, Maine, North Carolina, Virginia.
Well, you get the idea. He'll make a toast to me at the main dinner.
I was surprised on our
tenth anniversary with a bouquet of 13 roses: I think that's the only time
I really LOVED red roses. It was such a unique way of expressing his love for me and the beauty he saw for our future.
