I once sat in a lecture in which a marriage counselor said that once in a while he'd fill up his bathtub with sweet-scented water and then proceed to give his wife a bath. Once she's completely soaked, he'll gentle rub her back with a sponge and then proceed to scrub her entire body.
That was many years ago, but as I sat there and listened to his talk on caring for one's wife, I couldn't help both thinking...wow, what a guy! His wife must be the happiest gal in the world.
You know fellas, during our courting period, we'll bend over backwards to please our potential mate, but once we tie that knot, we symbolically seem to tie up our desires for romance as well, We reasoned, ok now that I gat her...time to chill...and what happens is that we strip away the facade and fall down back on our old self.
That's a shame!
Giving your wife a bath once in a while is a sure fire way to keep the flames of romance eternally burning.
On special occasions, perhaps on her birthday or anniversary, why not go the extra length and spice up your mate with something romantic...stretch your creativity a bit...decorating your surroundings with sweet scented candles will go a long way in contributing to the intimacy.
...But don't stop with just the bath...dry her off when she's finished and surprise her with a new bathrobe.
Many of you may not have a bathtub, but don't let that stop you. Do you have a shower? Then the same idea applies.
I grew up about a mile from the Atlantic Ocean and most of my adult life I've been fortunate to live next to some river. Those of you dwelling in riverain areas can take your mate...wade in the water and then proceed to splash her with water.
As kids we used to splash water on one another when sneak out to swim. Have the same kind of playful 'fun-splash' with your wife.
It would be hard for a woman to be the same again after such an event. I can guarantee you that your lives will be much more filled with romance than the usual nagging and bitching that comes from an unfilled woman.
So what are you waiting for? Go try it!
You can also take that bath in another direction...Read more...
Take care folks...
